Have you ever seen a sea turtle play fetch? Well if you haven’t, you’re not alone. Sea turtles do not play the same way that dogs or cats do. They’re solitary animals so they don’t typically play with others. Their version has more to do with scratching and hiding. So we provide our turtles with “toys” to help them do this. Most of our toys are made out of PVC, like the design below.
For some of our smaller turtles, we also provide tubes that they can swim through, like Bowser does.
For others, we provide structures and tubes. But for our larger turtles, the tube is just large enough to hid their head.
