A Loggerhead Sea Turtle who had an intestinal impaction of sea sponges. Normally, Loggerheads eat lobster, conch, and various crustaceans. They will also ingest sea sponges which may occasionally cause a blockage in their intestinal tact.

RELEASED 01.2004 – Cori spent four months at The Turtle Hospital where he was given mineral oil and Metamucil daily.  Cori was released by the hospital’s volunteers during a beautiful Key’s sunset in January, 2004.
