UPDATED: 4/27/16  Transferred!   Hunter will be under Dr. Mader’s care at the Key West Aquarium and we will be bringing Hunter back to the Turtle Hospital every 6-12 months to get radiographs to check on the progression of the hooks.  Technically Hunter is not being adopted by Key West Aquarium…he is being transferred to Key West Aquarium to be kept under observation on a temporary basis so that we can make room at the Turtle Hospital for more sick turtles.

UPDATED: 5/2/17 Had a yearly physical today. Hunter has put on 8 lbs, and is now weighing in at 208.

UPDATED: 9/24/18 Hunter visiting the Turtle Hospital for his yearly physical. Currently weighing in at 222 lbs.
