11/28/2021: This juvenile green turtle was found in the Spanish Harbor Channel in Big Pine. Covered in tumors and in critical condition. Gingerbread required a blood transfusion.

5/9/2022: UPDATE: Gingerbread is finally made enough improvement to have surgeries. She is finally eating on her own, and gaining weight. 

8/16/2022: Deceased due to internal tumors.
